Global Warming is due to excessive release of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide and methane.
These gases are produced by the use of fossil fuels such as coal and crude oil which are used to generate electricity and propel our planes, ships and motor vehicles.
It is also produced by fauna (humans and animals) during the digestive process and leaves our bodies as we breathe and pass wind.
Furthermore volcanic eruptions also produce carbon dioxide and methane gas.
However carbon dioxide is essential to the life of our flora (trees and other plant life).
Flora absorbs carbon dioxide and gives off oxygen by a process involving the suns rays which is known as photosynthesis.
The problem exists when more carbon dioxide is produced than plant life can absorb.
Before the industrial revolution there was equilibrium between the production of carbon dioxide and the utilisation thereof by our trees and other plants.
Post industrial revolution the production of carbon dioxide exceeded the absorption thereof by our flora and accelerated to current dangerous levels. This phenomenon is the cause of climate change.
Concurrent with the destruction of flora and the excessive use of carbon dioxide producing fuel the imbalance is heating our earth causing violent climate change.
Excessive warming of our earth leads to the melting of the ice caps at the north and south poles which causes sea levels to rise with devastating consequences. It also
significantly affects weather patterns which in turn affect the growth of plants that provide us with food.
Excess rising of water levels can and will submerge large portions of land with consequences too ghastly to contemplate.

The more people the more carbon footprints and the greater the demand for food. accommodation and services.
FOOD SECURITY IS ALSO A MAJOR PROBLEM OF
CLIMATE CHANGE.

WHAT SHOULD WE DO?
The answer is simple.
Plant more trees and vegetation.
Limit couples to two children and adjust this as circumstances demand. This will ensure
FOOD SECURITY AND LIMIT CARBON DIOXIDE PRODUCTION.
Use Solar energy and Wind Turbines to generate electricity.
Convert to electrically driven vehicles where possible.
Walk or cycle if time and distances permit.
It is good exercise too.
Reduce air travel as much as possible.
WE HAVE A SERIOUS PROBLEM LET US UNITE TO SOLVE IT BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.
